The patented pickup and low-noise, battery powered, active preamp is natural sounding and transparent. It has a nice character without adding unnecessary color to the guitar's already beautiful tone. The 4 band tone controls on the pickup allow for precise dialing-in of the natural tone of this fine guitar, or you can use them to create some new and unique sounds of your own.
