Before you read what pignose has to say below about their amp, let me tell you, in my own words, why I think every serious player should own one of these.

Very low noise, great for recording or for a preamp before a bigger amp. It has a huge range of tonal possibilities, especially for recording because you can actually open up the case with that little latch and change the tone with the volume/port of the cabinet and reflections of the sound. In other words, you can go from a closed to open back sound to varying degrees.

Sounds best with single coil pickups. Humbuckers make it work a little too hard, but if you're looking for that overworked sound, then this may be the funky little amp to go with your Les Paul.

Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin used it extensively on their recordings as did Paul McCartny of the Beatles and many other famous artists. It sounds great in a tiled bathroom, even inside a toilet (don't ask me how I know that) and especially good when it is used in conjuction with other amps such as a Marshall Stack or a Fender Bassman.

Not to mention that is a great amp for blues harp / harmonica players.
